I cannot say enough about how fantastic these candles are! I ordered from North Candles for the first time when I got the fall collection (which was also superb and I would give it 10 out of 5 stars). I figured the Christmas collection would be amazing too and I was not disappointed! I knew I would love (and I have loved) the gingerbread candle and hearth candle and such. I lit the Christmas Tree candle for the first time last night and almost cried. I didn't realize just how much I had missed that specific scent too. We know in Japan candle scents are limited and there's not nearly the vast selection that we have in places like the US. So, North Candles fills that gap in my life living in Japan perfectly. But I didn't quite realize how it's not only the scents that North Candles brings into my life again, but the memories and those feelings of home. I can't recommend these candles and this company enough. From their huge beautifully scented selection of candles, to the memories and feelings they bring back to me, and their OUTSTANDING customer service! They are so fast at replying and sending out orders. And when I email them I know I'm communicating with a real person who cares. I love supporting small businesses and I am more than happy to support this one. I am a fan for life!

Instructions for Use & Scent Information
1. First Burn: Burn your candle for 1-2 hours on the first use to ensure the wax melts all the way to the edge of the jar. This helps prevent "tunneling" and allows for an even burn.
2. Recommended Lighter: To safely light your candle all the way down to the bottom, we recommend using a long-tipped lighter, such as a barbecue-style lighter.
3. Small Flame Fix: If the flame becomes small, extinguish the candle, remove any excess wax, and wait for the wax to harden before relighting. Be careful, as the wax and container will be hot.
4. Safety: Always burn your candle on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface. Keep it away from flammable objects and never leave it unattended. Ensure the candle is out of reach of pets and children.
5. Burning Time: Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at one time to avoid overheating the container.
Scent Information: Our essential oil candles are made with 100% plant derived essential oils that we use to make our own original essential oil blends for the scents in the candles. We also have synthetic fragrances in a variety of scents. In general the essential oil candles are a softer, more natural type of scent. Our fragrance oil candles are generally stronger scents and more exotic smelling. If you are sensitive to scents we recommend considering our essential oil candles! Small candles tend to create a smaller wax pool and have a more subtle scent. They are perfect for small spaces or those who prefer a lighter fragrance. Larger candles create a wider wax pool when burning, which allows more fragrance to be released into the air. We recommend larger candles for customers who enjoy stronger, more noticeable scents or are using them in larger spaces and are also looking for the additional value of the added burn time.
These candles are heaven sent! The way they make the whole house transform into cozy country homes just like how I remember homes that I've lived in back home!
