Introducing our 100% plant-based candles, made with only essential oils and soy wax. The wick of our candles is made of cherrywood, which burns brighter and makes a crackling sound, reminiscent of a campfire. Each candle has a burn time of approximately 40-50 hours.

Floral: A blend of Rosewood, Rose Geranium, Patchouli, Orange, Ylang Ylang, Bergamot and Pine. This blend is ideal for creating an invigorating clean atmosphere, with a refreshing and floral scent. Perfect for creating a relaxing and soothing environment in your home or office.

Energy: A blend of Yuzu, Neroli, Lemongrass, Eucalyptus, Balsam Fir, Pine, and Cypress. This blend is perfect for creating a revitalizing atmosphere. Ideal for use whenever you need a pick-me-up throughout the week.

Fresh: A blend of Spearmint, Yuzu, Lemon, Lemongrass, Pine and Patchouli. This blend is ideal for a refreshing and earthy atmosphere, with a refreshing and earthy scent. Perfect for creating an uplifting and fresh environment in your home or office. 

Breathe: A blend of eucalyptus, peppermint, and lavender. This blend is perfect for promoting clear breathing and relaxation, with an invigorating and soothing scent. Ideal for use in a yoga studio, meditation room, or in a bedroom before bedtime.

Our soy candles are made with soy wax, which is derived from soybeans and has natural air-purifying properties. Additionally, soybeans are a renewable resource that can be re-grown, making our candles a more environmentally-friendly and vegan option when compared to traditional paraffin wax candles. And because soy wax burns at a lower temperature than paraffin wax, our candles release the essential oils slowly and steadily, allowing you to fully enjoy the aroma for a longer period of time.

* Order Processing: Orders are usually shipped within 1-3 business days. Sometimes this will be delayed due to exceptional circumstances. * Shipping Time: Shipping generally takes 2-4 business days after dispatch, so most customers receive their orders within 3-7 business days. However, in rare cases, it may take longer due to exceptional circumstances. * Shipping Costs: Domestic shipping is ¥690 with Sagawa (including a tracking number). We also offer some cheaper options for certain regions, such as Hokkaido. For some regions like Okinawa and Hokkaido, we may use Japan Post services instead. Most shipping options include a tracking number. * International Shipping: International shipping is available. We kindly ask that you refrain from canceling your order once the purchase is complete. If you receive the wrong item or if there is significant damage, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order at mami@northcandles.jp. For returns due to personal reasons, the customer is responsible for the return shipping cost. However, if the item is damaged or incorrect, we will cover the return shipping costs. Please note that all returned candles must be unused and in their original condition.

Instructions for Use & Scent Information

1. First Burn: Burn your candle for 1-2 hours on the first use to ensure the wax melts all the way to the edge of the jar. This helps prevent "tunneling" and allows for an even burn. 2. Recommended Lighter: To safely light your candle all the way down to the bottom, we recommend using a long-tipped lighter, such as a barbecue-style lighter. 3. Small Flame Fix: If the flame becomes small, extinguish the candle, remove any excess wax, and wait for the wax to harden before relighting. Be careful, as the wax and container will be hot. 4. Safety: Always burn your candle on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface. Keep it away from flammable objects and never leave it unattended. Ensure the candle is out of reach of pets and children. 5. Burning Time: Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at one time to avoid overheating the container. Scent Information: Our essential oil candles are made with 100% plant derived essential oils that we use to make our own original essential oil blends for the scents in the candles. We also have synthetic fragrances in a variety of scents. In general the essential oil candles are a softer, more natural type of scent. Our fragrance oil candles are generally stronger scents and more exotic smelling. If you are sensitive to scents we recommend considering our essential oil candles! Small candles tend to create a smaller wax pool and have a more subtle scent. They are perfect for small spaces or those who prefer a lighter fragrance. Larger candles create a wider wax pool when burning, which allows more fragrance to be released into the air. We recommend larger candles for customers who enjoy stronger, more noticeable scents or are using them in larger spaces and are also looking for the additional value of the added burn time.

ドンピシャに！大好きな匂いでした♪(๑ᴖ◡ᴖ๑)♪甘いバニラの匂いが好きで、今まで香水や柔軟剤などバニラと名の付く商品を買い漁っていましたが、どれも変な癖があったり、純粋に「バニラ！」な匂いに辿り着けたのは1度か2度くらいでした（涙）。今回も瓶の蓋を開けるまでドキドキでしたが、蓋を開けて匂いを嗅いだ途端とっても幸せな気持ちになりました〜ヽ(´▽｀)/。キャンドルを焚いてる間もしっかりと甘いバニラの香りが香ってくれて、大満足です！次からは大きいサイズを購入します！

It smells like gardenias. A very pleasant, sweet, floral fragrance. It is a comforting smell to have in your rom.
I SO appreciate how natural, and non-chemical these candles are. They really have spoiled all other candles for me （笑）

Really nice!

I was unsure what to expect, but was thinking it would be a fir/cypress scent. But no! This reminds me, strangely but very pleasantly, of my father's Golden Virginia loose tobacco that he used to make his rollups, back when I was a child. I liked the smell of the fresh tobacco in its pouch, and this reminded me of that - in a good way (it doesn't smell of anything connected to cigarettes).
I like this candle fragrance very much, it is subtle, mellow, and 'low' if that makes sense. It might become my next new favourite. Thank you!

My only little cafe

Like the candles I’ve bought before, it didn’t disappoint. The rich scent fills my entire living space and even after I put the light out, the amazing aroma lingers still. I guess if anything it makes me disappointed because the scent is so authentic I think I have a drink, but I actually don’t 🙃
