* Order Processing: Orders are usually shipped within 1-3 business days. Sometimes this will be delayed due to exceptional circumstances. * Shipping Time: Shipping generally takes 2-4 business days after dispatch, so most customers receive their orders within 3-7 business days. However, in rare cases, it may take longer due to exceptional circumstances. * Shipping Costs: Domestic shipping is ¥690 with Sagawa (including a tracking number). We also offer some cheaper options for certain regions, such as Hokkaido. For some regions like Okinawa and Hokkaido, we may use Japan Post services instead. Most shipping options include a tracking number. * International Shipping: International shipping is available. For more details, please contact us by email at mami@northcandles.jp or through the chat function on our website. * Free Shipping: Free shipping is available on all orders over ¥10,000 within Japan. * Tealight Sample: All orders include a tealight sample candle of a different candle scent, so you can enjoy another fragrance. * Return & Cancellation Policy: Since our candles are handmade, please consider this before making your purchase. We kindly ask that you refrain from canceling your order once the purchase is complete. If you receive the wrong item or if there is significant damage, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order at mami@northcandles.jp. For returns due to personal reasons, the customer is responsible for the return shipping cost. However, if the item is damaged or incorrect, we will cover the return shipping costs. Please note that all returned candles must be unused and in their original condition.

1. First Burn: Burn your candle for 1-2 hours on the first use to ensure the wax melts all the way to the edge of the jar. This helps prevent "tunneling" and allows for an even burn. 2. Recommended Lighter: To safely light your candle all the way down to the bottom, we recommend using a long-tipped lighter, such as a barbecue-style lighter. 3. Small Flame Fix: If the flame becomes small, extinguish the candle, remove any excess wax, and wait for the wax to harden before relighting. Be careful, as the wax and container will be hot. 4. Safety: Always burn your candle on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface. Keep it away from flammable objects and never leave it unattended. Ensure the candle is out of reach of pets and children. 5. Burning Time: Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at one time to avoid overheating the container. Scent Information: Our essential oil candles are made with 100% plant derived essential oils that we use to make our own original essential oil blends for the scents in the candles. We also have synthetic fragrances in a variety of scents. In general the essential oil candles are a softer, more natural type of scent. Our fragrance oil candles are generally stronger scents and more exotic smelling. If you are sensitive to scents we recommend considering our essential oil candles! Small candles tend to create a smaller wax pool and have a more subtle scent. They are perfect for small spaces or those who prefer a lighter fragrance. Larger candles create a wider wax pool when burning, which allows more fragrance to be released into the air. We recommend larger candles for customers who enjoy stronger, more noticeable scents or are using them in larger spaces and are also looking for the additional value of the added burn time.
